The striking Abbaye du Mont Saint-Michel is a medieval masterpiece situated in the city and island of Mont-Saint-Michel in Lower Normandy. It was one of the first UNESCO World Heritage Sites and remains a popular tourist draw. Built at a height of 80 meters, it offers jaw-dropping views of the coast and bay.
