Paris’s great art collections, churches and historic sites fill this nine-hour itinerary. The day combines landmark visits with walks through the city, bringing several major stops into a single, full-day route.
Begin on Île de la Cité
Start at Notre-Dame de Paris, with free access to the centuries-old cathedral, before joining a guided walking tour of Île de la Cité. The island has witnessed key moments in French history, giving the walk a historical focus between visits. Entry to Sainte-Chapelle brings you inside to see its stained-glass windows. The route also includes admission to the Conciergerie, whose changing role—from royal palace to prison during the Revolution—adds a different perspective on the island’s past.
Visit the Louvre and Musée de l’Orangerie
The afternoon includes entry to the Louvre Museum, where you can see masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa. A walking tour of the Tuileries Garden follows, taking the route outdoors before the final museum stop. Admission to Musée de l’Orangerie is also included, ending the day with the collection known for Monet’s Water Lilies. These visits bring two distinct art collections into the same itinerary, with the garden walk between them.
A host between visits, independent time inside
A host escorts you between visits throughout the day. Inside the monuments, churches and museums, you explore independently: live guided tours of their interiors are not included. The guided elements take place on the walks rather than inside the collections and buildings. Live guiding is available in English and Spanish.
Travel along the Seine and pause for lunch
An EV transfer takes you between the Seine riverbank and the Louvre Museum area. At this stage of the day, you have free time unless you select the three-course lunch canal cruise. That cruise is an optional addition, not part of every ticket. Food and drinks are otherwise excluded, as are hotel pickup and drop-off.
