The Vaporetto Pass puts Venice’s public water-buses at the centre of your visit. Rather than a gondola ride, this ACTV ticket gives you access to the city’s everyday water transport, with land buses also included. It is a transport pass rather than a single sightseeing excursion: its value lies in the journeys you can make during your selected period of validity.

Travel across Venice and the lagoon

The pass includes unlimited use of ACTV vaporetti and buses in Venice, plus water-buses and buses serving Lido, the lagoon islands, Mestre and Marghera. That coverage lets you use public transport for both water-based journeys and travel on land, rather than limiting your plans to one part of the city. The lagoon islands and mainland areas are part of the ticket’s transport coverage, not separate excursions with a fixed itinerary.

Choose your travel period

Validity depends on the option selected: 75 minutes, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days or 7 days. The range spans a short period of travel through to a week of public transport use. The duration is the key distinction between these options, so the pass can cover a brief visit or transport needs across several days without turning your journeys into a scheduled tour.

Regional trains with the one-day rail option

The “1 day Ticket + Trenitalia” option adds unlimited travel on R and RV trains within the municipality of Venice. This rail inclusion applies only to that specific option; it is not part of the other pass durations. Its geographical limit matters too: the included train travel is within the municipality, rather than unrestricted regional rail travel beyond Venice.

Ticket delivery and arrival

Tickets are delivered instantly, and smartphone tickets are supported. The arrival location is the Venezia Unica ticket office at Piazzale Roma, Venice. Wheelchair access is available.

Services outside the pass

The pass does not cover ACTV services to or from Marco Polo Airport. Water-bus lines 16, 19 and 21, Casinò services and Alilaguna lines are also excluded. These exceptions define the limits of the transport coverage: not every boat service in Venice is included in this ACTV ticket.
