Discover the winery's history, visit the barrel room, and taste Veronese wines

Visit a historic winery just outside Verona’s historic center and learn about the city’s wine region and winemaking history. Your visit begins in the Montresor Wine Museum, where you’ll learn about Verona’s history from the late 1800s to today and the Montresor family’s connection to it. See original winemaking tools and learn how the winery adapted through major historical events. Explore Valpolicella wines and learn how the land influences Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso, and Amarone. See grapes at different stages, from harvest to drying. In the interactive aromatic room, test your senses by identifying key wine notes. Enter the aging room to see wines stored in large barrels and the drying process, along with a full-wall historical mural unique to the winery. End with a tasting of four wines guided by expert sommeliers. Choose Valpolicella reds, including Amarone Riserva, or Lake Garda white wines.
